Using Non–contact, high speed laser scanning, welded sub assemblies can be 100% inspected. Claas has delivered multiple systems of this type throughout Europe and Asia, and will deliver complete turn-key systems.

- Bearing sleeves: position and orientation
- Bores: position and diameter
- Slots: position, and dimensional verification
- Form and shape of special characteristics: elongated holes, bores with anti-rotation feature
- Groups of characteristics: flatness of several mounting points
