| Valentine Robotics expands to larger, new location.
|
In celebration of their tenth anniversary, Valentine Robotics has purchased a 16,000 square-foot facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This will double the size of their current facility, allowing Valentine Robotics to meet the increasing demand for customized automation and robotics training, automation support services, robot metrology solutions, and Scorpion Vision solutions. The new location is centrally located in the metro-Detroit area to the benefit of its customers.
The new building will feature a much larger and more advanced training facility for the Valentine Robotics School for Continuing Education. To date Valentine Robotics has successfully trained over 8000 students in the areas of robotics, controls, cell systems and other customized automation training. The new facility will allow greater class offerings at more frequent intervals to help their customers keep pace with today's ever-expanding technological needs and assure that their employees remain competitive in the global world of manufacturing.
The new building will also feature a R&D facility for Krypton Robot Metrology, Scorpion robot vision guidance software and automated, online vision systems for the inspection of objects. Krypton robot metrology solutions, is the industry leader of robot calibration, robot accuracy improvement, and process verification for applications requiring a high degree of accuracy.
Andrew Valentine, president and founder of Valentine Robotics, commented that he is "excited with the possibilities that the new facility offers to help our customers in the area of training, robot metrology, and with the addition of Scorpion Vision software to create even better solutions to robot guidance systems and automated quality verification." He further commented: "Valentine Robotics now offers customers a complete solution for training, support services and in the future complete, turn-key robot vision systems, now with this larger facility we can accommodate our all of our customers needs." The move should be completed by June 1st2006.
The facility is located at 36625 Metro Ct. Sterling Heights MI 4831, off of Metro Parkway (16 Mile) between Mound and Vandyke.
